The General Assembly is the major conference of the organization and it is during this Assembly resolutions are voted on, education is offered and other business is conducted. The General Assembly is held annually.

A special conference has been planned starting Friday evening with the showing of the amazing film The American Nurse and the opportunity to support the Golden State Nursing Foundation by participating in a silent auction. Saturday will let you enjoy hearing two dynamic speakers Dr. Linda Burnes-Bolton, who will share her thoughts on evidence based practice and other important topics, and Dr. Candace Campbell who will discuss the significance of interprofessional communication. She also has a surprise that has something to do with Florence Nightingale! The business of the association will also be shared. Complete your registration form to day and mail or fax to the ANA\C office. CE units will be provided and is approved by the BRN provider number #11665.

Membership Assembly address nursing issues. 350 representatives and observers to the 2014 ANA Membership Assembly participated in dialogue forums to offer strategies on three key topics: nurses' full practice authority, access to palliative care, and high-performing interprofessional teams.
